Hi all,

I am a final year MBA-HR student, and as a part of my internship in an IT firm, I have been given the task of documenting the recruitment process. Please guide me in this regard. It would be a great help if you could provide me with any company's recruitment process document to be used as a guide and starting point.

Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi Swetha,

For everything in an organization, there is a systematic process. When it comes to recruitment, the process would go like this:

1. Gathering requirements
2. Analyzing the requirements
3. Assessing the need for the position
4. Starting to post jobs (either through newspapers or job portals, internal referencing from employees)
5. Gathering profiles from various sources (consultancies, internal references, profiles from job portals)
6. Assessing and shortlisting the profiles received
7. Organizing interviews for the shortlisted candidates
8. Preparing offer letters for the interviewed shortlisted candidates
9. Following up with the offered candidates and ensuring they join the company
10. Once they are onboard, the recruiter's job ends there.

I hope this helps you.

Best regards,

There are three ways you can get the information:
1. Go to Google.com and research.
2. Go to your local city library in Bangalore and search for good Recruiting Books.
3. Put your mind to it and start thinking about what special you can do rather than asking someone for a sample company recruitment guide.

I think it makes some sense now! Have a great time.

This is okay. Let me introduce more information about the recruitment process. I hope that it is useful for our community.
