Hi,

In my company, a lot of people have completed 10 years of service, and we would like to give them gifts as tokens of respect, recognition, and loyalty. Can anyone suggest what gifts we can possibly give them?

Vinay

Vinay,

It would be difficult to come up with a list of gifts that would please everyone, especially when the employees are of different grades. A manager's expectations would certainly be different from a lower-ranking employee. My suggestion is that you give them a month's salary or whatever quantum the company can afford, as this is equitable and the employee can use their discretion to purchase what they need.

Dear Vinay,

Continuing 10 years in the same group is really a great thing, and they can be considered as pillars. Honoring them by means of conducting a program where their services can be praised makes them a role model for beginners. Personal benefits like declaring some cash prize, mementos, promotions, etc. Check/judge whether they achieved anything in those years career and monetarily.

Dear Vinay, you need to appreciate employees for serving 10 years in an organization. You should consider paying a loyalty bonus, awarding a trophy, and hosting a grand celebration with their family members. This will motivate them and also show other employees that the company values their service. You can formulate a policy for this and outline the benefits to be offered if they complete a certain number of years in the organization.
