Dear All, If we take MONDAY & TUESDAY OFF after fifth saturday sunday.. how many leave will be counted.? 4 or 2 Regards Smriti

Dear Smriti,
If your company is paying 30/31 days salary then in that case your weekoff (sunday) is a paid weekoff. so in this case if you are present on saturday and if you take leave on monday, tuesday then it will be two days leave.yet if you are absent on saturday and you take leave on monday and tuesday also then it will be a 3 days leave.
If your company is paying salary for 26 days by deducting the 4 weekly off's in a month then in this case even if you are present on saturday and you take leave on monday and tuesday it will be 2 days leave since your weekly off's are not paid.

during the period of such leave, on which a shop, or commercial establishment remains closed under sub-section
(1) of section 18, or on which he is entitled to a holiday under sub-section (1) of section 24 or section 31.]
This clearly means that if your sat is working day, and you took leaves on sat, mon, tue,
Your leaves to be counted shall be sat-sun-mon-tue i.e. 4
I hope this clears your doubts...
If however you work 5days a week and sat-sun are weekly offs, in such cases, mon-tue will be a 2 days leave...
