Dear Prayagi,

It's sad to hear about the issue you and your other members are facing now . It's really sad to know that even after having such policies people don't move to go by the rules .

Anyway looking over your present issues , i would suggest you being the HR need to take a step forward as people here would surely ask for the duration you all are there and the duration from when you are facing such issues .

Other things is you need to bring things on table and make things on paper as without that either you will keep struggling or keep your words have a slow death inside the vocal cord .

I Don;t mean to misguide you but to make things better someone will have to step ahead but in a polite manner .

before you move the other way as a HR you must also know the reason behind your management as if why they are struggling for making payment and pass the message correctly as your role is very crucial here .

And need to let your management know that verbal things don't have value if you are not able to keep it and legally too it wold be hard to prove .

So move better in a formal way and strategically :

find reasons for non payment

time duration

view of the management

Ask the management to discuss with few of the senior members to have a cordial relation so that they can support the management if there is really any such issues as many business pass from a cycle and bad phases too .

This time have a mail drafted from your end with outcomes of the meeting and ask management to approve that they have agreed on the following : add the point of payment there with date .

Dear Prayagi,

First of all what kind of issue you are facing in salary whether you are not paid at correct time or the correct salary you are not getting ?? Moreover as HR you should take a initiative to issue appointment letter or if you are employed by a vendor you should initiate to issue Contract letter (Formats available in internet) and also You can ask your Managing directors to provide you the exact date of Salary to be hit in your account , I have one query whether you are getting salary in account/ cheque/ in hand, if you are getting in Hand please coordinate with concern person to start salary account for your company. Y I am saying is getting in hand is more critical than getting salary in account. First list out what are the drawbacks, as a HR you have to take step to initiate it. I hope your company is a start up company, the company directors do not have enough knowledge on salary according to you and employees getting 10 rupees is hard, but for the service providers it is very easy to earn so, take step to Move further. wish you all the best

Hi,
It is very obvious if you are getting salary without cheque. First of all you must ask your HR to pay by cheque or in a/c. So that you can show the accountability of your salary. Do you have muster book ? Do you get salary receipt ?
If you have both then there is something else, cause your salary is not increased. What is the reason for it, you have to find it out.
If your company is doing good then "Each one of you must get the increment at the end of F.Y.
If you are not getting, then you must have a word with your management.
Be careful, there are some employees who are getting the increment but they don't disclose every one but they get it from the management silently and shows that they are also with you.

Thank you seniors for your valuable advise to me.

Seniors as Hr me starting frsh career in this field. As per your suggestion, i'm opening salary accounts of all employees, documentation also done.but directors change there policy in verbal so we are facing lots of problem in work place me and my rest of employees. Impact of this, most of the employee leave job and they blame me. i'm already discuss with rest of employees with salary issues. all of the employees perform good but the thing is that the director not pay salary according to quoted or said salary.every time director said me" you cutting the payment because he was late for day, half days or if deposite 15days salary towards the company." so there is big problem to how to resolve the problem and how will hire the employee.and i'm only one person to make the policies but after discusion with directors they are not ready with policies. so this is big issue for me. either i leave the job or do it there. me not understand what exactly what i do?only 15people including me. all employees are good with there work and skills.i'm totally down to earth, why i'm not able to solve this problem. Seniors,
they are fixing date of salary every month of 15th but they are not fulfill there commitment. everymonth they are giving salary cheque on or before 21-28th every month. so employees are conflicts with me.and the director not give full salary to us.

As per my opinion you are cut the salary of employees as per advise by director like late coming , half day. early going ,then advice to employees go to labour inspector /or send a letter for the same department without name for official action.
then see the result !!!!
2nd ask to labour inspector send a notice for inspection ...
its deshi treatment .......
Regards
