I have completed MBA HR from an average institute, this year and worked as a Generalist HR (Executive) in a Pvt. Ltd Company for 6 months, I was getting 10 K there.
Now I have joined a Sr. Management Search Firm, which is into Retained Search only, I am getting 12 K and incentives upto 50% salary.
Now I am getting other offers for T&D and Recruitment(Contingency). What I can not decide is what to do. What will be the best route for me in terms of growth and salary.
Plz help me people...........URGENT
Thanks and Regards

Bhatia:
This is purely based upon your interest, see where you interest lies in then you wont be in dillemma and we cant say that only this particular field is perfect or that is perfect... the only thing is whatever be the work or profile it is suh that how you do it, are you doing with your full heart or just for the sake of doing ....
so dont look at the offers... it comes one or the other way, you have to make your path in what way you want it.. so my dear think twice and take a decision that what you want to do
Hope you are clear

Hi!
The choice entirely depends on your interest and your aptitude. It's not that someone gives you an advice on the choice of your career. It is entirely at your discretion and you are the better judge of what is good and what suits you the best.
Good luck!

Hi,
Its nice to know that you are getting exposure in multiple areas in short time. But now onwards, while changing jobs keep in mind the stability aspect. Frequently changing jobs is not advisable until you have a valid reason to leave.
All the best.
Murali.

Hi,
First you decide whether you want T & D & Recruitment or a Generalist Profile coz it will help you to grow.
Just for merely couple of thousands rupees dont go for a change.
Take decision according to your strength and target.
Cheers!!

Thanks Ruhi, Joe n Murali,
I do agree with u all about the stability aspect. But the thing is money is important too.
Thats where the dellima lies. M liking Recruitment. But is there ample growth in it. When I see that any graduate is getting jobs in this field, I become anxious, for the prospects.
Plz m asking vt u gus think abt the future in recruitment and will I have any prospects later for generalist if I continue in this
Give ur guidance

It is always good to go into a field which excites you, but you should understand that knowledge and experience are important for survival.
It is advisable to learn thoroughly your present job and then analyze about jumping.
In todays world opportunityies are plenty
so improve your talent rather than looking presently at hike
