if you want the course have value and acceptance at everywhere, you need to study course and college approved by qaicte. if no approval from aicte, pls donot go to that college and course.i have got enough list of cases by students who had joined colleges who had fraudently declared as they had the affiliation and approval tom aicte and later it was false.

Either AICTE or HRD approval is required for university, otherwise it should be a deemed university, but open university with out AICTE or HRD sanction is useless and not valid

A university covered by UGC can design and run it's own course after getting approved by UGC.
Technical Education provided by Open university must be accredited by competent body like AICTE/DOEACC/MCI...
It is also true if a collage run a particular technical course even if it is affiliation by some university covered by UGC

Dear Airavat
Associated body need not mean that they are an legal body or body with quasi statutory powers recognized by the government of India, where in case of UGC,HRD,DOEACC are a recognized accreditation provided by law/government
Kindly read the above statements along with the statements of arvind, hope this helps you
Thank you
