Hi Ambarish,
Incase you need to withdraw the PF amount..youcan download the PF withdrwal form from net..fill it up and send it to ur ex-employer..Your ex-employer must be dealingw ith the PF authorities...they can send your form to the authorities..and within 45 days of your application...you will receive all ur amount in the bank account mentioned by you in ur form...
we do the same in our orgainsation...i hope this will also help..

hai after a very long time!
May i first wish you all for all the wonderful festivities that are round the corner!!!!!!
Well i have a certain query with regard to Pf.
Issue is as under:
i quit my job in 2007 aug, ( joining date 12/11/01)
Now i am on my own.
I recd my Pf cont.& employer contribution by cheque.
There is a portion of this contribution which goes into pension ( percentage i do not know exactly ) which i have not recd.
How can i get this & what is the procedure ?

For your information you can download the pf withdrwal Form 19 and Form 10 C for pension fund and u need to fill this form and send it to your ex-employer they will send it to the PF department. and u will get your PF and pension amount(8.33%) in 2 cheques.
In case if u r not able to deliver it to the ex-employer then u can get signed the PF withdrwal form by the gazetted officer and directly submit in the PF regional office within 30 days u will get your amount by cheques.
