Hi Rahul
The incentives for HR recruiters should most definitley be based on the no. of positions they close.
For example, you could set targets for each (like closing 15 positions every week). This would be a benchmark standard. If they go above this, then they would be eligible for incentives (% or fixed amnts).
For any more details, you could reach me on :

hi,
if talking about a small firm then the range between 7K and 10 K. middle level cos. it vary from 10K to 12K and about good cos. it can go to 15 K max. if the person having 1-2 yrs. exp. then i think between 12 K and 15K is maximum salary for him..and it depends on what they are getting at present.

hi!
Im fm Calcutta n at present am doin MBA(HR) from ICFAI(distance prog).
Recently I got a job as a Recruiter in a consultancy firm....
During the interveiw when I was asked abt expected salary I didnot quote anything as I did not have any idea about how much to ask for.
So they offered me 6500....during training that is for 6 mnths n then as they said it would be increased.
I have 8 mnths work exp in dell n wipro BPO but am a fresher in this HR field. So I did not negotiate.
On second thought I now feel it was too less.I am supposed to join next mnth. Now I want to negotiate but dont knw hw to go about it?! will it be right for me to negotiate now?? do u think they will increase my salary??
n also How much should I ask for??! PLEASE HELP!

Hi lovelygrg,
your situation is critical, however atleast you have a job in hand.
There are three ways to tackle with the situation:
* You can ask your current employer about the future prospects in the company, incentive programmes and growth.
* You have one month of time so keep on trying for other jobs also, if you feel unsatisfied already(i.e. before joining)
* Since you will be recruiter in a consultancy thus you have a lot of market open for you to find an appropriate job for you later.
Hope theswe suggestions are of some help to you.
Good luck

thnx jyostna!
ya there are a lot of other consultancies here where im sure i can get in....but again how much should I ask them for?
incentives are given here. n tartgets are 10 times of salary so suppose i get 10k den my target would be 100k.so would that be achiveable??
cz i havent finished my course yet.I will work along with MBA(distance).
Im very confused! Should I wait for MBA to get over by jan or should I start working now itself!Cz if I dont start working now then even after i complete MBA(HR)distance fm ICFAI i would still have to start with d same salary!
