Hello friends,
The recent buzz word in HR arena- PCMM(people capability maturity model) is in use only in IT industries why this is not influencing manufacturing industries?
yes, i can understand IT is and knoledge based industries for which manpower is given more importence. but if at all one wants to develop a concept/theory for PCMM in manufacturing industry wat are the major areas he has to consider and how and where it differs from present PCMM????

Who said PCMM is not in manufacturing?
We are manufacturing of Bulk drugs ( Chemical industry) and we are now at PCMM level 2.
We are stepping towards the level 5 and the projected time frame for us is 2 yrs.
