I worked in a company “A” (Un-Exempted) during the year 1998-2001 in Tamilnadu (Coimbatore) where my EPF and EPS was contributed. Later I joined in a Gurgaon based company “B” (Exempted PF Trust) where my EPF portion was handled by that company PF trust and EPS portion was contributed to EPFO Gurgaon. I had applied transfer from Coimbatore PF account to Gurgaon PF Trust account and EPF amount got transferred to PF Trust by the way of submitting Form 13. At that time, I was not keen to verify that EPS service history was transferred or not, to Gurgaon EPS account. Later, while raising grievance to EPFO Gurgaon I came to understand that my previous EPS service history was not received and not updated, in-turn they advised to me approach previous EPFO (Coimbatore) to get annexure-k copy. On verification of the annexure k copy particulars, it is found that the transfer of EPF happened to Gurgaon EPF (EPF Trust) and the transfer record of EPS service history transfer also shown as EPF Trust number instead of valid Gurgaon EPS number (It could the mistake of not mentioning proper EPS number while submitting the Form-13) Now Gurgaon EPFO is saying past EPS service history was not received and Coimbatore EPFO is saying it is was just transferred along with EPF. These transactions were done via offline mode before UAN concept (.i.e,before 2014). Under this situation, am I eligible to apply one more transfer via Form 13 (only for EPS service history transfer from Coimbatore EPFO of my pervious company “A” ) to another present company “C” (Un-Exempted) EPF/EPS account which is mapped in UAN or Can I apply Scheme Certificate for my past service from Coimbatore EPFO. Please suggest possible ways to recover and update the missed EPS service history.
