Please read the case and help me
we have a contract employee having notice period 1 Day . he is not performing well we want to terminate him so i want to know that before how much time we have to give him warning ?

Dear Joshi,
You can initiate PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) against the employee with a time frame which could be 10-15 days along with review dates.
Since the notice period is just 1 day, call can be taken at the end of PIP period.
Pls note, there is no specify time frame for PIP. It depends on Manager as how much time he/she wants to give to the team member to improve the performance.

one day Notice period???? sounds odd. I think the employee is on casual role. For casual labour, no need of notice period. Pon
