Do we need to submit any legal documents if we have employed female employees in night shift?

Job Timing is 07:30 PM to 04:30 AM and office is located in Ahmedabad.

Any suggestions regarding this would be very much helpful.

Hi.,

Based on the subject line, it appears that your organization operates a BPO. Considering the nature of its work, it is likely that your organization is required to be registered under the Gujarat Shops and Establishment Act.

If this is the case, to comply with the provisions of the Gujarat Shops and Establishment Rule 2020, you must maintain or submit, as per demand, the following legal documents to the department if you employ female workers for night shifts (between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM):

Form-J: This form serves as the consent from women workers to work during night shifts. It should be maintained and produced upon demand.

Form-L: This form is applicable if you operate more than one shift. It includes a list of workers engaged in shifts along with their respective shift timings. This form should be sent to the Inspector and displayed at the premises.
