Hi
I am working for an IT company, It is a big company top 5 in india.
the project that i am working in has not got good environment.
The project is not in good shape as the people are not skilled enough for it.
I had asked for release from my RM and HR manager but no response.

Now finally i have resigned. when i resigned i had asked my RM to assign me someone for KT, for what i was doing.
They said they will try, but after more than 3 weeks no response, after sometime they said they cannot arrange one you have to do it any how.
But i have said i cannot complete it in the given time, it is not possible and i stuck to my stance of providing resource for KT.

Not after so much time more than 2 months, always bulying me one senior manger called me for meeting.
In the meeting when they tried to pressure me to do it, and i refused.
he threatened me that they will destroy my character certificate, and also my career.
I felt really bad, don't know what to do.

Please anyone guide/suggest...???

Hello Nishant,
A few aspects that would need better clarity/elaboration in your posting.
1] What exactly is YOUR role/position in the project?
2] What do mean by "....not got good environment"?
3] What's the timeframe/timeline/duration of the project? And how long were you working in this project prior to this situation?
4] You mention "people are not skilled enough for it" as the cause for the poor delivery show. Since you say this is a Top-5 IT Company, I presume regular internal & client review meeting WOULD have been regularly held. Then wasn't this aspect highlighted/escalated? If No, why not? And if Yes, what was the action taken to bring it back on-track?
5] Looking @ what you mentioned ".....people are not skilled enough for it" COMBINED with "asked for release from my RM and HR manager but no response" from ANOTHER angle, prima facie, it looks like your RM & HR viewed this as your effort to run away from the problems/issues rather than taking them up as a challenge & resolving them.
6] Are you a VERY CRITICAL resource for this project? Your line ".....after sometime they said they cannot arrange one you have to do it any how" gives this impression.
The more details you give the better the chances of actionable suggestions from the members.

You don't need to worry for that. No one has the power to spoil the career as it is against employment practices. Once you have resigned stating the problem and the employers is bulying you even after that , this is not your fault. If they do so, file a case against them in labour office of your area.
