Character Evaluation Tools

Character evaluation is very difficult. We need to conduct character evaluations of the team members so that the institution has a well-balanced team. Are there any tools available to get a close-to-real picture of a person's character?

Hi,

You can consider psychometric testing. It is widely recognized and used as a useful tool to analyze the personality of candidates/employees. The results are quite reliable and accurate. You can contact HR consultants who provide psychometric tests and analysis reports for a fee. Let me know if you consider this, and I can give you the name of one such consultant I know of.

Dear Friends,

Nice post. Can you kindly post a brief explanation of what you mean by character? Another word I came across in relation to people is conduct. I have heard that knowledgeable executives may issue a conduct certificate and often refuse to provide a character certificate.

I am also curious about the success rate of the widely praised psychometric tests. Even in cases where hypnosis does not work on a determined and strong individual, can psychometric tests still yield meaningful results?

This issue does not appear to be safety-related. I am attempting to be more tactful by not immediately addressing it to avoid causing any ill feelings among our friends.

I will strive to make future communication more beneficial, even if it does not pertain to safety.

Thanks Jyoti_jain and Kesava Pillai for your inputs. Like Kesava mentions, Psychometrics do have some limitations. I shall try to clarify what I meant by Character - We need to analyze a person for his views towards his work and how his vision aligns with the mission of the institution. Also, consider how the candidate would react to situations within a team framework.

Your inputs are most welcome.

Hi Ravi,

It's true that psychometric testing has its limitations, but it has proven to be an extremely effective tool for personality analysis. I have used and tested it myself and can safely say that the results are much more reliable than any other tool.

It is nothing like hypnosis; it is a tool that catches you if you try to be too smart about your answers and lie... I am referring to a test called 15FQ+. I have tested it on myself also, and the results were 100%.

Rest, if you want, you can Google and get to know more...

Jyoti

As Wayne Dyer used to say, his teacher used to call him a disturbing element. It is also true that people who are highly authentic are often viewed as troublemakers. For example, Ralph Waldo Emerson and even Maha Kavi Bharatiyar were arrested for their unconventional thinking and writings. My great-grandfather, who was a police officer, issued the arrest warrant for Maha Kavi Bharatiyar. So, judge not.

I guess by character verification, you mean "Antecedent Verification." You can always ask for a Police Report. Nowadays, it is mandatory to inform the Police about the new recruits, tenants, and the servants.

Please contact your Police Station in your area and get the form. From there, you can devise your form. The police charge some money for this service if you require a verification report.
