Was reading a wonderful book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad", fourth time. I believe in "Secret" and a good friend of mine had handed over "Rich Dad Poor Dad" to me 6 years back. Time has changed and my mindset too.
Was reading it again and could relate to this quote:
“It is said that the fear of public speaking is a fear greater than death for most people. According to psychiatrists, the fear of public speaking is caused by the fear of ostracism, the fear of standing out, the fear of criticism, the fear of ridicule, the fear of being an outcast. THE FEAR OF BEING DIFFERENT PREVENTS MOST PEOPLE FROM SEEKING NEW WAYS TO SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS.
A must read for those who want to change their life...Rich Dad Poor Dad by Mr Robert Kiyosaki.

Loved this one too:
“There are fast ideas and slow ideas, just as there are fast trains and slow trains. When it comes to money, most people are on the slow train looking out the window watching the fast train pass them by. If you want to become rich quickly, your plan must include fast ideas.”

Hi
You have drawn attention to a very common human fear, the fear of public speaking. However the larger problem is that people are fearful of moving away from their comfort zone lest their weakness or failures taint their image. What they fail to appreciate is that in the process they are missing out on a potentially huge upside/ reward. The bigger tragedy though is that, most people wish away their fears; they fail to dwell on it and find a way to tackle it or they simply hope the problems will vanish on its own accord.
Your second quote to fast ideas, ironically breeds a new set of problems; the get quick rich mentality. While the point made about taking leaps in order to speed up results is valid, one must be cautious enough not to bite of more than what one can chew.

Dev, Appreciate your thought and comment. Yes, I have applied those thoughts and ideas and it has been tremendously fruitful. Both in terms of monetary rewards and how I see life and how I enjoy life.
Hey Jacob, Thank you for sharing your thoughts, really insightful and 100% agreeable. Definitely one who understand the mindset of a businessman would agree to your comment on "Comfort Zone" and "Instant gratification" mentality.
