ESI Corporation is the best mediclaim service provider for those who are under the ESI scheme. For those outside the coverage of ESI, you can select from the immense offers available from other service providers. However, if the policy can be linked to the Employees' Compensation Act, it would be beneficial.
Considerations for Mediclaim as an Employee Benefit
Mediclaim is not an employee benefit as per statute. Once introduced, you may not withdraw it because it would have become part of the service conditions. Being a start-up establishment, therefore, think twice before introducing it.

We have covered 40 of our employees with Bajaj Allianz Health Insurance. So far, so good. We have tried with more than four providers in the past over 10 years, and finally, we are with this company.
