Hi, I have submitted my resignation to the company. However, the company is not releasing me during the notice period. They are requesting an additional month's time, but I am unable to accommodate the extra month. I tendered my resignation on 8th March, stating my last working day as 31st March. Despite this, my company is insisting on extending it until 30th April, which I cannot agree to as I have already committed to leaving on 31st March.

If I do not extend beyond 31st March, what issues might I face?
