Compliance Requirements for IT Companies

There are various forms and returns to be followed. First of all, you need to ensure compliance under the Shops and Establishment Act. You need to fulfill the compliance norms as per the respective state act/legislation and rules made thereunder. These include maintaining the Attendance cum Wage register, which, in Maharashtra, is Form II Rule 27 under the Minimum Wages Act, as well as registers under the Maternity Benefit Act and the Accident Register. Additionally, you must keep an Overtime Register, Notice of Opening under the Gratuity Act, Notice of working hours to be displayed, Returns under POSH, Returns under Employment Exchange Registration Code, and various other details to be monitored and maintained under compliance requirements.
