I Am Working For A Ltd. Company Since 2012. The Company As Standard Practice Has Been Deducting PF .

However, When I Downloaded My E Pass Book From EPFO Web Site In Oct 2014,

I Found That (1) For First Year Of Service The Employee And Employer Contribution Is Deposited Correctly.

(2) In The 2nd Year On Wards, Though The Right Deduction Of PF Contribution Has Been Done From My Salary (Mentioned In Salary Slips), Only 5 % Of It Along With Corresponding Company Contribution Is Being Deposited Into My Account.

(3) I Immediately Approached My HR Department And Management Including Senior Management, Bringing Out The Anomalies, They Reverted Back Saying That By Error Into Company System, The PF Nos. Has Got Interchanged With Another Employee And Thus The Reason. (4) They Informed That They Have Taken The Matter With Appropriate Authorities However, The Corrections Has Not Been Done Causing Great Financial Loss To Me.

(5) Off Late The Company HR Person Is Just Passing The Bucks With Bluffs And It Seems Not Interested In Getting The Things Sorted Out.

My Question With This Forum Is To What Steps I Should Take As An Employee To Get The Things Corrected .

Please raise the grievance online in EPF portal Home Page . You mention that, the amount in the member passbook is not matching with the salary slip / company deposited in your account. Then epf authorities will start inquiring it and resolve the issue.
Earlier some companies wont pay the full epf amount by showing the less attendance of an employee to reduce the burden. But now everything is transparent through online, no one can cheat employees. So go ahead and raise the grievance in EPF portal or raise written complaint addressed to asst. PF Commissioner at your PF regional office.
Thanks
