The Key Result Area (KRA) will have certain parameters, and the same should be issued by your reporting manager on the day of your joining. This will explain to you what your KRA is, the weightage for the same, and how your reporting manager will measure it in detail.
Example: HR Operations KRAs
For example, if you take HR operations as an example, the following will be your major KRAs:
- Payroll: to be sent to Finance on or before the 2nd of every month (Target) - 30% weightage
- Associate Data Bank
- Joining Formalities
- Attendance & Leave Management
- All associate-related documents preparation
- Personal Files Management
- Exit Management
Depending on the priority and importance of the task, the weightage and measurement will be determined.
I hope this information will help you understand the KRAs.
