Dear Seniors,
I have a query regarding the date of exit from PF. For example, an employee worked only ten days in May 2024 but not on regular days. He worked one or two days a week. Please confirm whether I should mark his exit date as May 10 or May 31. Please confirm.

Hi, when you officially relieve the employee, that date should be the last working date, and you should mark the same date as the exit date for PF purposes. Though the employee was irregular to the office, the absent days should either have been adjusted against leave or marked as loss of pay (LOP). The date you removed the employee from payroll (last relieving date or termination served date) should be considered.
