National and Festival Holidays for Contract Workers
All the national holidays declared are applicable, and the festival holidays of local importance are applicable for the workmen engaged under contractors. The contractor is bound to notify the holidays for the calendar year to be announced at the beginning of the calendar year.
All the holidays to be given under national and festival holidays need to be certified by the labor department prior to the beginning of the calendar year.
