The objective of the Factories Act is to provide for registration and to ensure the health, welfare, and security of the workers employed therein. All the provisions are equally important. You cannot run a factory without registration; you cannot refuse matters affecting the health of workers; you cannot compromise on the welfare of workers, and you cannot neglect the security measures required to be taken.
