I'm Aarthy, an MCA graduate. I began my career as an assistant professor. After my marriage, I worked as a Junior HR in a private firm for two years. Currently, I have been working as a human resources executive for four years. I want to grow my career; do you have any suggestions regarding courses in HR that would boost my career?

Dear member,

There are a large number of HR professionals who are confused about their careers. The confusion has arisen because they did not make a career plan. However, before making a career plan, it is better to do a SWOT Analysis of oneself.

Anyway, to give a suggestion on your career growth, I can say that rather than getting into hardcore HR, I recommend you make your career in Data Analytics. This will help you make a foray into HR Analytics as well.

Being a non-MBA in HR, it will be tough for you to grow in hardcore HR. This is because you will face constant competition from MBAs, and out-competing them will be difficult. As a data analyst, you will have the option to handle supply chain analytics, marketing analytics, and so on.
