Our company is an electronic design startup, and I am a director here. We offer services in the following areas:

- Electronics systems design
- Complete electronics product development
- Embedded design
- PCB design, PCBA turnkey solution, manufacturing support
- PCB Prototyping as a proof of concept

We cater to various industries such as Aeronautics, Automotive, Consumer electronics/multimedia, Defense, Power, Health, IoT, Railway, Space, and Telecom.

I am currently in need of hiring staff. I would appreciate your assistance in designing a perfect organizational structure with different department names and key positions to fill at the initial stage. This will ensure that we meet our business objectives smoothly.

Dear Surat-Guy,

To prepare the organization chart, you may sit with the Director and obtain information on who reports to whom.

We, the members of this forum, are outsiders and know nothing about your company. We are not the right persons to give suggestions.

Thanks,

One tiny point if I may:

There is no such thing as a "perfect" organizational structure. Having that mindset will limit your ability to do anything.

As Dinesh has perfectly said, we do not work for your organization so we are not in a position to guide you.

Consult your business plan and develop the organizational structure to meet the aims of the plan. As a start-up, you will not need a lot of people to begin with, but your plan needs to have provision for the company's future needs.

Instead of thinking about perfect, concentrate on what you need to get the company functioning effectively and profitably. Then you can look at expansion once you have the fundamentals in place. I would also suggest concentrating on actual workers who produce things, not on managers sitting at desks shuffling paper and in meetings all day.

Your staffing mainly depends on your
 Requirement of design engineers /CAD /CAE software trained engineers,
 How many proto type assembly line staff required initially you propose to have (either on, line concept or individual proto type assembly concept),
 CNC trained operators if required,
 How many service engineers required to take care of the customers, and based on the documented check and control / rectification measures,
 How may overseers / supervisors initially you may require,

All the above are to be planned for designing an organizational chart , if I am correct.
No outsiders would be in a position to design an organizational chart, without the above planning / data’s

What are the designations used in a tour operator proprietorship firm other than the owner/ proprietor/ manager? Need a small organization structure.
