Dear Seniors, I need your help in understanding the Leave Policy for our company, which comes under the Shops and Establishment Act of Maharashtra. I did go through the revised Act of 2017, but I am getting confused. I would really appreciate it if you could help me understand how Casual leave, Privilege leave, and Earned Leave are different.
I also want to understand if we, as a company, can stop leave carryover to the next year. Is leave encashment at the end of the work tenure mandatory, or can a company have a policy that does not allow for leave encashment?
