Dear Mr. Prashant,
There is no confusion in the statement annexed. Your take-home salary will be Rs. 52,997 per month, and your PF contribution at 12% of the basic salary (Rs. 2,457) will be deducted from that. All other benefits constitute CTC, which is the Cost to the Company. The employer's contribution to PF, Gratuity, Insurance, Medical, Accident Insurance, etc., are the benefits spent by the company on your behalf.
The variable part of Rs. 78,000 per annum will be given as variable pay only if your company achieves the organizational targets, and if you, as an individual, achieve your targets too. Only if these conditions are met, you will be given the variable pay. In some organizations, they scale it down and fix it to the extent of the proportional target achieved.
Hope it is clear now to you.
