Hi everyone, I don't have a relieving letter from an MNC BPO (but I've been properly relieved by serving the notice period as well). I worked there for 4 months. Initially, they mentioned that the relieving letter would be sent through the post, and it has not arrived in 6 months. I registered with NSR while working in this BPO.

Concern about Previous Employment Details

So, my concern is that now I've been offered an IT job in a Software MNC, and I've excluded this BPO experience as I don't have the relieving letter. My current employer is also asking for an NSR card. Will they figure out my previous employment details through NSR? If they do, what are the consequences as I don't have the relieving letter?

Email from Previous Employer

For your information, I received an email from my BPO employer stating, "This (date) is the last date for you in this organization, and your resignation has been accepted. You will receive the relieving letter once the F&F settlement is processed by our EPF team." I received this email after my last working day in the organization, but I have not received the relieving letter yet, and I haven't heard from them despite sending multiple emails.

Seeking Suggestions

My dream is to get an IT job in an MNC, which I have successfully secured now after a year. Please help me with your suggestions so that I can resolve this issue.

Have you received your F &F from previous company? Please contact them in writing and visit physically and ask them for release letter. Presently your email should be proof of clear release.

Thank you for your suggestion. I've written multiple emails to the company, but none of them responded to my email. I've received the full and final settlement (money credited to my bank for the final working month in that company) but have not received any emails from the employer regarding the F&F.

I've tried approaching physically, but security didn't allow me inside even after showing my emails and offer letter. Now I'm running out of time. In case I don't receive the relieving letter, please let me know if my new employer will obtain my details (previous company experience) through my NSR number. Will my new employer question me and ask for a relieving letter if they obtain my details through NSR?

I'm sure my previous employer wouldn't have made any negative remarks as I left properly. I request you to please share your valuable responses.
