I have two offers from two companies—let's say Company A and Company B. Company A has confirmed my joining date, and Company B may take another 4 to 5 months. I want to join Company A in the meantime, but my problem is if I join Company A and leave without serving the notice period to join Company B, will there be any problem with the PF UAN as it is already linked with PAN and Aadhar? Will there be any issue with Company B regarding PF? I am concerned because the UAN is already linked with Aadhar, making it impossible to create another one. So, what might Company B do in such a situation?

UAN and Transition Between Companies
My question is about the UAN, which is already linked with Aadhaar and PAN and was created with Company A, right? After leaving Company A without serving the notice period and joining Company B, if Company B attempts to create another UAN, which is not possible, what should I submit to Company B if I provide my previous UAN details? Or if I don't provide them my UAN, they will obviously know my UAN with the Aadhaar. So, will there be any problem with Company B related to the PF account?

There could be a problem as it is very likely that company B will come to know of your UAN details. But are you within the salary limit (< Rs. 15,000/pm)? If you are drawing more than that, you may insist on non-coverage of PF. However, your idea of absconding from company A is not appreciated. This forum cannot be used to promote unethical practices.

Sir, I don't mind if company B knows about company A, but my problem is knowing whether company B is able to generate a PF membership ID. I don't have any documents from company A, such as the exit date and the relieving letter.

Sir,
The UAN is used to create a single account for one person. Therefore, they can generate a new UAN if you haven't provided any old information. If you provide your old UAN details, then the new PF amount will also be provided in the same UAN, but with two accounts. You may need to transfer the money from the old account to the new account.
