Issue with EPF Fund Transfer

I have submitted the correct Form 13 to my present employer to transfer the funds from the old company to the new company. I received a message from EPFOHO stating that the amount will be transferred to account x54321 shortly, but my correct account number is x654321. I realized that this is the wrong account number. Now, how should I proceed?

I have submitted a grievance, but the Mumbai office (present) replied that they have not received any transfer. I then raised a grievance to RO TAMBARAM (old PF), but have not received any reply. Please help me understand what will happen to my money.

Its better that you check the UAN portal. And note that x54321 may be the same as x654321.... They didn’t mentioned "6" that doesn’t mean its a wrong account number.
