Issue with PF and UAN Linking
We have an employee who joined in April 2016. He had a previous PF ID and UAN number, but he wasn't aware of his UAN and asked for time to retrieve it. So, we kept his new UAN generation/linking pending. In the meantime, he spoke to someone from his old office regarding the same and got his new PF transferred to the one with our company. However, in his previous PF, there was a mistake in his date of birth (DOB) in the DD/MM format; it was reversed.
Now, in his UAN login, he can see both PF IDs linked, but the passbook only shows the old PF. In the transfer claim portal, his old PF shows as already transferred to the new PF ID.
What can be done to get his new PF from our company shown in the passbook?
