Hi,
As per my knowledge, there are no standard government-approved HR policies. All HR policies are drafted for the company only. However, there are a few rules/acts from the government, such as:
- Minimum Wages Act
- Leave with Wages Act
- Equal Remuneration Act
- Gratuity Act
- Factories Act
- Etc.
Please let me know if you need further information or clarification.

Please refer to the thread https://www.citehr.com/353889-hr-man...-download.html. You will find the HR Policy. Also, research Employee Handbook; you will find many threads that can be referred to, and you can amend them as per your needs.

You can check with Labour dept on Draft standing orders for your industry. They will provide you. You can use them as skeleton and frame policies as per the requirements.

Dear friend,
The HR policy should cover equal rights at work, office timings, dress code, disciplinary procedures, internet usage for official and personal purposes, outside activities, terms of employment, confidentiality, technology usage, the joining process, leave regulations, maternity leave, working hours, weekly offs, late arrivals, housekeeping standards, smoking policies, employee development, motivation strategies, employee promotions, resignation protocols, training and development programs, unauthorized absences, travel expenses, and more.
I hope this helps in creating a comprehensive HR policy for our organization.
