Challenges with Background Verification in HR Process: Address Change Impact on Document Verificatio - CiteHR

Hi, my husband recently cleared all rounds with XXX and was asked to fill in details in the portal and submit all the documents. He did the same. Now, the HR there says that the offer letter does not consist of a salary structure, and in his company, they don't provide that. So he was asked to submit at least a document stating the CTC at the time of joining and currently. He did the same and took the Director's signature. Their company also shifted to another location, so the letterhead consisted of the old address and numbers, making the HR think it is all fake. However, my husband asked them to verify as he knows all is true, but she has made up her mind and is seeing everything from that perspective. He is very upset and thinks it's wrong that they are stating it to be fake before verification. Why would a person risk his current job with fake documents when he knows that during verification, he will be found out? PLEASE SUGGEST as this opportunity is a golden one for him. If this message is reaching XXX HR, please look into this matter as he does not accept the fact that even if everything is correct, he won't lose this opportunity.

THANKS

Understanding Salary Documentation Issues

Usually, companies that don't provide any salary details in their offer letters give appointment letters with complete salary details and a breakdown after joining. Doesn't your husband have that document? How long did he work in this company? Did he receive any salary hike or promotion? If yes, those documents would be useful to prove his experience here.

Company Size and HR Precautions

What's the size of the present company? Frankly, you can't blame the HR of XXX... after all, they are doing their job. In these days of everything turning out to be fake, including degrees, they surely would like to take all precautions.

Alternative Solutions

Another way is to ask your husband to take another letter from his director stating the change of address, mentioning the old one and the new one, including the dates of the locations from/to. That should help.

All the best.
