I am working in Mumbai at a small organization, and I have been selected by an MNC. My query is regarding the fake client information I have included in my resume. My experience is genuine, but I have mentioned a fake client and technology. I am concerned if the company will verify the client and technology I listed in my resume. Can the MNC contact the client I mentioned? I am frustrated by this situation. Please help me. What should I do now?

Dear Vicky, The biggest mistake you did is by posting this on a public forum. Anyone from the client side can see this and you are gone. Sometimes something you should keep it to yourself.

The Consequences of Providing Fake Information
Giving fake information is a recipe for disaster. Many senior staff members have had to resign, even after years of work, when they were found to have doctored their resumes with fake qualifications and experience.

Rightly said @Simhan and @Prasenjit. Refuse to join the MNC company and restart your search focusing on your true accomplishments. Believe in one true fact of life: "Everybody is unique and possesses all the qualities gifted by God to be successful. Don't be fooled by the Devil of this world, who will always show that the grass is greener on the other side."
Wish you all the best and forgive yourself for the potential mistake you were about to make in your life, as it could leave a "DAAG" on your career and self-esteem when you achieve success.

You are aware that the details furnished (Client/Technology) are fake or non-existent. Therefore, if you have already done that, I would suggest keeping the confidence. If you are just posting this to ask for senior guidelines, then I'm afraid it wouldn't serve a better purpose for your future accomplishments.
