Dear all, I am working with a medium-sized IT firm. As you all know, marketing is one of the crucial departments for every organization, and it is the job of HR to keep the workforce motivated and satisfied in their job.

The Challenge with Salary Increments

Now the problem is that as and when the appraisal of marketing executives is done, their salary increment is implemented, thus increasing the Marketing Executive's target. Consequently, the Marketing Manager's target also increases. Therefore, in my organization, Marketing Managers are reluctant to approve their executives' salary increments, leading to a demotivated environment among the managers.

Exploring Non-Monetary Benefits

In our organization, the incentive structure is good enough for both executives and managers to motivate them to work harder to achieve targets. Besides incentives, what other non-monetary benefits or perks can we provide to Managers so that the work environment and motivation levels are not disrupted?
