Dear Ms. (Cite Contribution), I have been facing the same problem since yesterday evening. Currently, my user ID boss2966 has been blocked, and I am unable to check the threads in which I have commented. My Yahoo ID ([Email Removed For Privacy Reasons]) has also been hacked, and I am unable to access that account. I would like to change my email ID to [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons] or [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons]. I need your assistance in resolving this issue.

Thank you.

  • Even I faced the same problem with the correct password. I was not able to log in. Then I clicked on "forgot password" and reset the password even though I knew the correct one. After resetting the password, it was okay. I also thought someone had hacked my ID.

  • Even I was facing the same problem today when I was trying to log in. Finally, I was able to log in after using the new password given to me. I changed that to my old password later, but my user ID has also been changed. Please tell me how do I change back to my old user ID.

    Thank you.

Dear Cite Contribution, I would like to clarify that previously I was using a login ID indranimukherjee.mba about 3 years back, but at that time I was not active on this site. Later, 3 months ago, I created a new user ID for myself, indrani_ibs (you can verify that I have already made 35 posts with the new user ID). This morning, I am unable to log in with my indrani_ibs user ID. When I clicked on the "forgot password" button, I was sent a new password for the indranimukherjee.mba ID (which I no longer use). Please help me retrieve my password for the user ID indrani_ibs, which is my new user ID and the one I currently use. I am looking forward to a positive reply from you.

    Thanks.

Thank you for this timely thread and the troubleshooting information provided herein. I too encountered the problem today (as I had not logged in yesterday) and resolved it like others—by using the "forgot password" option. I hope that this issue will not arise again in the future.

    Warm regards.

Please advise our friend, Mr. Giridhar, to use the "Forgot Password" option and enter the Cite HR registered email ID in the column. He will receive the existing user ID and a new password in his email. With that information, he can log in, change to his previous password, and get back on track.

    All the best

    Please try this: https://www.citeman.com/password_reset.php

This will reset your password for the email address registered with us. This method is much easier than the one we were using until now. It allows you to set the desired password directly and then click on a verification email link to set the password.

Please pass on the message to anyone who's having trouble logging in. Inconvenience is deeply regretted.

Many of you had trouble logging into CiteHR yesterday and today. The issue was caused by a problem with our caching server, which was caching all requests and not allowing people to access the logged-in view.

    Password Reset Solution

We have built an easy way for people who would like to restore their accounts.

    [CITEMAN NETWORK PASSWORD RESET](https://www.citeman.com/password_reset.php)

This will let you set your password directly instead of sending a random password. The inconvenience is deeply regretted.

  • Hi all, I'm niyasharma. For the last three days, all of a sudden, I'm unable to log in to CiteHR. It says "wrong password," whereas I have not changed my password. My username is "niyasharma," and suddenly the password changes. All I request is to change my password for this username. I have also registered with Cite Sales as vinika, and I'm not sure about the email ID I provided for CiteHR. Can I request the administrator to take it seriously as I have many important things, contacts, and other information? Please help me by just changing the password of niyasharma and emailing me at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].

Note: Lately, I've been receiving spam emails referring to CiteHR as a reference.

  • Dear Sid, This is Niya here. I've been emailing you and trying, but nothing is happening.  I just checked all my mails and inbox. I'm not getting a digest from Cite HR, whereas I'm getting one from Cite Sales. Is it weird? As I've mentioned before, my username in CITEHR is niyasharma, not vinika. Vinika is my username in Cite Sales!

Can you please let me know which email ID is reflecting on Niyasharma's account? It's urgent and highly important too. Can you just change the password for Niyasharma and email me at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].

    Thank you.

The email address registered with the account niyasharma is a @tiscali.co.uk email address. You will need to ask for a reset for this email address to be able to get access to that account. Try it here: https://www.citeman.com/password_reset.php

Addiction to CiteHR: A Personal Reflection

Pick up a drug addict from a remote village in Tamil Nadu, who does not know any other language except Tamil. Drop him in the Assam or Kashmir region, and the addicted person will still find a way to trace out the place where he can get the drug for his use.

Similarly, nowadays, the majority of members (including myself) have become addicted to this site. Without this site, I personally feel disturbed even when trying to perform my regular duties. I then created a second user ID. (I have advised some friends to use the "forgot password" option instead of creating multiple user IDs, which would put more load on this site). I went through and, with that user ID, followed and retrieved the old user ID.

This two-day break has helped us understand how we became so involved with CiteHR.

    Thanks, Mr. Sid
