Dear Seniors, Please advise on what is the minimum age requirement in the electronic industry at the time of appointment as per the Karnataka Factory Act. Also, could you provide information on the documents that need to be maintained for each employee in the HR Department? I am eagerly awaiting your prompt response on this matter.

Dear Solomon,

You can appoint individuals who are 18 years old and above. In compliance with the Karnataka Factory Act, the minimum documents to be maintained in an employee's personal file are as follows:

1. CV
2. Age proof / ID proof / address proof
3. Appointment letter
4. Copies of certificates / experience letters, etc.
5. PF, ESI, gratuity nomination forms
6. Index page / checklist
For staff members, ensure to collect PAN numbers.

Dear Solomon, 1.As other Senior said the the minimum Age 18 for employement in a establishment. 2. There is no any Act Called Karnataka Factory Act it is Kanrnataka Factory Rules. regards, Nagaraj S
