You can appoint individuals who are 18 years old and above. In compliance with the Karnataka Factory Act, the minimum documents to be maintained in an employee's personal file are as follows:
1. CV
2. Age proof / ID proof / address proof
3. Appointment letter
4. Copies of certificates / experience letters, etc.
5. PF, ESI, gratuity nomination forms
6. Index page / checklist
For staff members, ensure to collect PAN numbers.
