Hi Senthil, good afternoon! I have attached a zip file containing almost everything you need regarding PF. I got this entire package courtesy of our friends here on Cite HR. If you search in downloads, you too should be able to find most of the stuff you need.

Since December 2009, my company has started deducting my PF contributions. However, to date, I have not filled out any nomination forms to be registered for PF by my company, nor have I received any PF slip within one year. Is there anything to be worried about? Kindly provide an answer.

Regards.

Dear Alfiya, it is a cause for concern. Have you been intimated of your PF number? If you have the number, you can approach the respective PF office and seek clarification from them as to whether PF is being remitted by your employer.

Thank you very much, Mr. Kannan. I do have my PF number; I'll do the required thing. I wanted to know one more thing: if an employee is a trainee and is about to complete his probation period but management does not want to deduct his PF due to existing losses, what can be done in that case? Is it compulsory to deduct? The employee's name is still on the trainee list, so the basic salary is not yet defined, and her monthly stipend is 9000/-.

How long do employees who join an organization after a year of its commencement have to wait to get registered for PF?

Dear Alfiya Ginwala, As long as you are a trainee in the company PF deduction will not be there. M.V.KANNAN
