Hi
When the employee works more than 6 months can eligible for applying the Pension Amount(Form 10C) and into that if the employee
exactly works on 6 months and in that 6 months if he avail any lop means the employee is not eligible for his/her pension amount.
In EPF office the days will be calculated for pension Eligibility.
Thanks

Dear Murugan,
For EPF pension, minimum service required is 10 years. If the service is less than 10 years (9 years and 6 months will be rounded upto 10 years), instead of pension one time withdrawal benefit is eligible subject to a minimum service of 1 year (6 months will be rounded upto 1 year).
To my knowledge loss of pay will not be taken into account for the minimum service for pension, but wii be accounted in the case of withdrawal benefit.
