Is it not hypothetical query? Saturday - half working day is counted as one working day. A person takes leave on saturday will lose one working day. Is it not? now, decide. Pon

In my opinion, it should be half day off, and not full day. However, it depends on the company policy

As we are considering the 30 or 31 calendar days as our working days, we have to consider the Saturday ( even it is half working day ) as one working day..

Hi,
You can first refer to your HR manual policy regarding salary deduction on half day saturday working.
But, if we talk in a general HR Terms, the salary will be deducted for the full day.

Hi,
Every employee needs to work for 48 hours a week. Please confirm your shift timings from Monday to Friday. If employee works only 40 hours @ 8hrs per day, then saturday would be full day leave. If employee has already put in 44 hours from Monday to Friday, then saturday can be considered as half day.

It depends on Company leave policy, as per my company leave policy. Full day leave will be count, as company pay full day salary for saturday. Regards Varun Agarwal
