 The same questions that you ask as a HR guy is what you can expect. I guess the easiest part for 'HR' folks facing interviews, is the interviews itself. It completely depends on your experience level that would define the kind of assessments that would be done.
All the best with your interviews!

Hi. I have some positions available in a startup HR consulting business. They will be big time soon since the consulting is being started by very intelligent people. They will be into recruitment, HR consulting, HR turnkey assignments, Job portals etc. It will be an interesting role and there will be lots of learning. Its a great opportunity.
In case anyone of you are interested or know of anyone who is interested, pl call me on 9820997098 or .

Hi Praneth!

There will be basically three levels of interviews.

1. Initial screening - where you will be screened on your resume, present compnay and your present role

2. Department specific - where you will be questioned on what you have done in your current role. what were your individual achievments/ contribution in the function or in the company. what do you know about the compnay you have applied for. they will analyse you crisis management skills and your presence of mind.

3. Final Inerview - here there will be a very causal meeting but here is where they would check your attitude and your aptitude for HR as a function. Also here is when the real salary negotiation happens.

well there could be more number of interviews based on your performance. basically if you outshine in two facets of HR and the vacancy is in both then the HODs of both the facets would judge you accordingly to see if you fit their bill...

well there could be lesser number of interviews again depending on your performance.

All - But now many comapanies are now conducting MEDICAL TESTS & BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION as a part of INTREVIEW ROUNDS & final selection is done the basis of final interview, medial test & background investigation.

Hi Praneeth & Paulami,

For entry into a reputed BPO Company, you can expect either of few of the following screening/shortlisting process for operations -related jobs :

1. Group Discussions (extempore talk/discussions generally on a

common/topic in the presence of other job aspirants)

2. Voice and accent test (over a simulated headphone-activated

telecalling/customer situation in you go for voice-based BPO jobs)

3. Psychometric test ( or optional mathematical aptitude, inductive

reasoning and state memory tests)

4. Logical aptitude test

5. Written essay test (to check lucidity of English writing)

6. Thematic appreception test

7. Interview with concerned department professional

8. Computer proficiency/encoding (KDPH) test (based on your nature of

job)

9. IQ/EQ Test

10. Interview and finalization with HR department.

The written tests are mostly the psychometric, aptitude and essay writing tests.

However, some types of general management jobs may only have interviews.

If you are smart, peppy, can communicate fluently in English and above average, generally, you can easily get through.

Hope this helps.
