Wonderful ideas dear Mr.Atul. But only employees know the importance of such small appreciations, while employers may think its too much for them, they are already being paid to work.
Anyways thanks for sharing...!

Hi Rajsapbsc,
I am really thankful for your honest feedback.
I am just wondering that I do not read management books written by so called gurus so where did these ideas pop into my head while compiling the presentation.
It is sad to know that you found the information boring and old.
Could you post something which is New and Interesting... as i saw that you have not posted anything.... !! I am sure I have plenty to learn from everywhere and obviously you... :)
Dear Moderators:
I am sure you wont mind me replying in this manner... I purposely don't want to send a private message!

Dear Atul:

First of all thankyou for accepting my response as it is. I am motivated by the way you accepted it.

Thats the real example of motivation. If we educate our employees about acceptance of wrong things first and then educate them to correct it they will learn more better. I learned it from you, I know what i wrote, and i was expecting an answer for the same. U proved to be more ahead of what i thought. There is no problem with ur post, but i just passed a test to you and i passed too. Hope u got ma point.

Motivation It exists without any ground, groundless. It exists in itself.

You go to the market; of course, you have a motivation: you go to earn money. You come home; you have a certain motivation: to rest. You eat food because you are hungry; there is a cause to it. You are in search of something. It may be vague, clear, known, not known, but the motivation is there.

The original mind is unmotivated, with no cause. Other minds which are not original but imposed upon are, of course, motivated, and because of motivation we cultivate them.

Example.

A lady was seated on a bus with her son. She bought a single ticket. The conductor addressed the boy, “How old are you, little fellow?”

“I am four,” answered the lad.

“And when will you be five?” asked the conductor.

The boy glanced at his mother, who was smiling her approval of the conversation, and said, “When I get off this bus.”

He has been taught to say something but still he cannot understand the motivation. He has been taught to say “four years” to save a ticket, but he does not know the motivation of it so he repeats it like a parrot.

Hi Atul,
Great presentation. Simple and very effective. In our experience, expressing genuine gratitude for the work of other employees is the best way to motivate. People want to be appreciated and it will help any leader to build loyalty when he or she is genuinely grateful for the work of his or her employees.
Thanks for your time.
