After amendment in ESI (Central) Rules, 1950 relating to enhancement of Maternity Benefit, ESIC has issued instructions on above subject vide their circular dated 06/02/2017, online link of the same is mentioned as follows for kind information of seniors and experts in this esteemed forum:

1. Sir, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, being appropriate Govt. has now enforced the provisions of the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017. Except in respect of "work from home", amendments have been enforced w.e.f. 01/04/2017. In respect of "work from home" amendment has been enforced from 01/07/2017.
