Hi friends,
Currently my company follows the following salary structure.
Basic
HRA
Conveyance
Other Allowance
Kindly provide me the guidelines for percentage fixing for the above breakup. What are the rules govering percentage fixing.
What other salary structure could be followed?

Dear Friend,
Regarding the Salary Structure Break-up: In general view as under
Sakary from the CONSOLEDATED PAKAGE:
BASIC : Rs. 60%
D.A. : Rs. 20%
HRA : Rs. 15%
OTHERS : Rs. 5%
__________
TOTAL : Rs.100%
However, the structure is depending upon the I.T Tax deductions etc.
taken into consideration.

Please find below are the details for salary breakup
Basic - 30 to 40% of CTC
HRA - 50% of Basic
conveyance - 800
Medical Reim - 1250
Spl All - balance CTC

On all the above discussions Rajesh_smiles86 has given correct calculations. But Rajesh make a note it is not CTC as mentioned by you and it is Gross. CTC includes employer PF and ESI contributions, insurance, bonus etc.
Conveyance can be taken as 800/- or 1600/- (fixed) Medical Reimbursement is fixed to 1250
