The Resume seems to do lot of beating around the bush,no quatifitication of work is provided, location does not match.
I feel the person must have just picked one cv and added his personal details but forgot to do detailing. I won't even shortlist such a guy.

Hello Peer
I feel its not self written to start off with! The candidate has used flowery language (inspite of being a recruiter, its suprising in length!!!)
Alos like most other members I do feel its very repetitive. Salary , banding and policies drafting are one time activities requiring maintainance and reviewing from time to time. The candidate has had hands in ER/ BHR/ Comp & Ben/ Recruitment.... they are all interlinked activities...
Truth is only a ref check away :)

Dear Mr. Peer
It is very nice to see your message. The CV is very lengthy. Location is not correctly mentioned-May be one man army handling entire HR gamut-To be precise and many
things could have been discussed in person by the candidates.

Dear All,
I think the cv contains too much of unnecessary details , no need for the candidate to emphsise so much on the 'attention and focus' that is needed in each activity at a point in time he must realise that HR Specialist need only a summary of what you did not your autobiography.

Dear Sir,
The resumes looks apparently nice, but again some of the functins taken are of strategic and are handled by only heads of the organization. with small duartion of experience in HR field i think it cannot be possible

Well said Sundar, when HR personnel are just giving 60 to 80 seconds to glance thru CV's , the length of CV is utmost important.Besides , CV's do not get one the job , it just helps one to get an interview call. So,it makes sense to keep CV's simple & crisp so as to attract and impress the one who is going thru it.

A CV should be crisp and short as it needs to grab the attention of potential recruiters. Generally one should not expain every aspect of his job role in details as he must keep some information for personal interviews that would follow. The CV given above was too detailed and may not be fake but highlighting his major job roles should have been enough for the initial screening process.

Language plays an important role for any HR, to put forward things in writing is more important.... Just few comments that my be helpful for you

Human Resource Management
(HRM as whole is not just developing Policies and Org Design, It’s a vast area, HRM includes all activates/interventions initiated towards sustaining performance of employees and align business strategy and HR needs)

Developed HR policies ensuring that it underpins the culture of
§ organization and linked with the overall business objectives of the company.
(Just a sentence saying Formulation and Implementation of HR Policies would describe the meaning)
Proposed and aligned organization structure with the business
§ objectives from time to time which facilitated high-growth plans of the company.
(Agree that HR plays a major role in aligning the organization of a company, but an organization structure is evolving and is an effort of every one in the Top Management including HR, In the sense it’s a Senior Management Decision)

Recruitment and Selection

Proposed annual manpower budget based on business projections.
§
(HR cannot just propose Manpower plan, It’s a collective activity again, all Top level Managers and Mid Managers will be involved in the activity, HR can arrive at the Manpower plan and CEO of a company will propose it to the Board of Directors. And it cant just depend on Business projections.)
Developed and implemented innovative recruitment strategies for effective turn around.§(Effective Turnaround of what)
Developed and promoted employee referral scheme for cost control§ (Employee referral is not just for cost control, it would also be for creating a good company culture, motivating employees to refer, and get the best candidates)
Developing and institutionalizing recruitment practices for Just in§ Time Recruitment process for cost effective Hi–Volume recruitment
Spearheaded campus recruitment activities by projecting requirements,§ identifying campuses & visiting campuses to meet expected closures(Its not just identifying and visiting)
Worked on various levels and roles selections§ (Doesn’t Make a difference)

Can elaborate in detail but will take time , so just gave this info... Perceptions may differ

Hi,
The above cv is alrite coz our resume is our 1st stepto selection. if the individual have actualy done the above job and if it is matching your company requirements then then goa ahead and call him for the interview. and then clearout the doubts about the person location or see whether he is realy a superHRman!! inshort what i feel is there is no perfect way of filling resume. We as HRs are aware that no two individual think or function alike so same way hw can these individual have some std resume??? jus go thru what is required thru the resume.
