You can creat a supplementary challan through your ESIC portal. You Have to take only 3 steps for that.
1 Open your esic portal and select the month for which you have summited wrong contribution.
2 After first step Select the option of supplementary challan given below the monthly contribution and put the value manually
like Esi no.,No. of days.
3 after putting the data of all employees please submit the contribution and creat new challan.you have to deposit the difference amt.between your previous challan and new challan created by you.
But you can only increase the days of contribution.

Dear RAJENDRAWANI,
I don't feel you have any solution now. Once you submit the ESI challan online, you have no option to modify it. Option of supplementary challan is available to you if you miss out one / two or number of entries. In your case, it seems to me, it's now so.
You can still try this option of supplementary challan. But you have to enter the difference payable, may be plus or minus. The total amount of original challan and supplementary challan together should match with your actual working.
Mind well, the bank will accept the amount in the challan and not the difference between the two challan as stated by Anonymous OMSHIV.
If you are not succeed in supplementary option as suggested by me, you have no other option but to approach the corporation with request to modify your record and create a fresh challan from its' (corporation) IT experts.

Dear Rajendra,
if he already submitted the challan into the bank then he has to make a cheque of difference amt. of previous challan and new challan. In fact the executive of my organization also made the same mistake and rectify that mistake by using this trick. But i have clearly mentioned in my previous update regarding that you can only increase the contribution of workers by supplementary challan. For Example-if a employee worked for 15 days and challan made on the 10 days contribution it can be rectify but if employee worked for 15 day and challan made on 16 days it can't be rectified.
I have a question for you Mr. Rajendra how you can match the amt. of previous challan and supplementary challan please clarify.

Dear Omshiv ji,
I appreciate your response.
I endorse your above example.
I said that the total of original challan and the total of supplementary challan should match with actual working i.e. total payable.
e.g. actual working or total payable contribution for Feb 2013 is Rs. 100. Original challan is for Rs. 60 and supplementary one is for Rs. 40. Total of both the challan is Rs. 100 which matches with actual working or total payable.
Hope I have made it clear.

Hai all,
If there are changes in ESI amount for 2 or more months, I think, each and every month we have to create suplimentary challan. Am I correct or is there any possibility to create supplimentary challan for all the months totally?
Kindly reply.

hi, The only way to make correction in ESIC challan is to mail the problem to Regional Director ESIC. I have tried it and got solution of my problem. Thanx & Regards Adv. Prince Pruthi
