I could not pay the ESIC Challan within the stipulated time period. Can you please help me with whether I have to pay a penalty or interest for that? If yes, then how much do I need to pay? For instance, if I missed paying the challan for May 15, would I need to pay a penalty or interest if I pay it now?

Dear you pay your challan with out intrest and penality.it will be paid by you when ESI department will send you a notice after calculating the same. Regards js malik
