Dear HR Professionals,

Could anyone please guide me about the basic 'Pay for Performance Model & Structure' and the 'Tool to measure the performance' for a large multi-business setup organization? This organization is involved in various businesses such as Cement, Farming, Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate, Hosiery/Shoes/Woolen Mills, CNG Stations, Aviations, Guards, Software House, etc.

If anyone can direct me to relevant guidelines, tools, or formats for the structures and models of 'Pay for Performance,' I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Mazhar

Hi Mazhar,

Good question, although it's in a very broad sense.

For the pay-for-performance model, you could try any piece-rate structure. For example, in the textile industry here in India, per meter rates are fixed and so on.

For measuring performance, please specify which industry, as what you have specified is just about everything under the sun!

Dear Junaid,

First of all, thank you for the response. Although my question is in a very broad sense, I have to make a presentation on the topic. Our organization (head office of a very large group) is overseeing many child projects such as banking, insurance, leasing, cement, pharmaceuticals, sugar, CNG, hosiery, woolen goods, shoes, agricultural farms & seeds, aviation (travel), and many more that are planned for the near future.

Before designing a form, I have been tasked with making a presentation to the board of directors on this subject. If any help is possible, I would be grateful.
