Hi Reena,
You can add all your friends' and colleagues' date of birth in Outlook, and it will automatically remind you a week before or you can set reminders. I am using it in my office to send greetings for birthdays and anniversaries. Additionally, in Excel, you can sort and extract month-wise dates according to your needs.

Hi Reena,
As you mentioned sending cards for occasions, you can try out Yahoo Greetings (yahoo greetings.com). Create a login for yourself and add all the contacts you have along with their respective date of birth details. You can also explore American Greetings (americangreetings.com), which are the ones I use. They send reminders at least one week in advance and frequently remind you via emails. Additionally, you have the option to send e-cards for free through these websites.
Regards,
Hari
