So, firstly, I would like to suggest, like Mr. Hansjeet, that you meet and get to know your team members, their strengths, and weaknesses, so that you can make a good understanding of the people working with you and under you.
Sales, as usually spoken or hidden, are all related to targets. Analyze the good players of your team. Plan and work out whenever you get monthly targets. Cover it up, monitor it weekly to see if you are achieving the targets fulfilled by your members or not. Show some leadership skills, always cover them timely. Ask for market feedback daily. Prepare daily and weekly achievements to be done and analyze it. Provide some motivation, either as a gift or anything, to your team members so that the goals are within reach. Do not work like that fox, be cooperative, guiding as your seniors did with you when you were under them. Use some ideas from there and apply them all. Let them feel they are really attached to you; you will surely get nice results. The more connected, caring, and good leader you are, the more they will believe in you.
